Introducing Jane Founder of Peacock and Gilt
Peacock & Gilt was founded by Jane, whose career in floristry spans over three decades of designing with fresh flowers.
Over time, Jane became increasingly conscious of the waste within the industry and began exploring a more thoughtful, sustainable way of working, one that didn’t compromise on beauty, craft, or intention.
Today, Peacock & Gilt works primarily with carefully curated faux florals and natural elements, approaching each design with the same care and attention as if working with fresh flowers. Every design choice is made carefully, so the finished work feels balanced, natural, and right for the space.
This experience-led approach allows Jane and the team to create floral styling and installations that feel calm, considered, and deeply personal, designed to support moments, spaces, and stories with longevity in mind.

Working primarily with carefully curated faux florals allows designs to remain consistent, comfortable, and reliable particularly during warmer months, in enclosed spaces, or where allergies may be a concern.
It also gives greater freedom to design without the limitations of seasonality, while ensuring arrangements look their best throughout the day.

Sustainability sits quietly at the heart of how we work. Materials are chosen for their longevity, designs are created with reuse in mind, and waste is kept to a minimum through thoughtful planning and careful processes.
