About the event
This is our most loved workshop at Moors Valley, walk with us and forage amongst the trees for material to make your wreath with, then after a short break we will make our wreath using the materials you have collected, which you can take home and hang on the door as a beautiful welcome to all your family and friends.
The wreath is fully degradable and recyclable (you can even bring it back to the site and we will recycle for you).
- This is a fun workshop all the tools and materials are provided, you do not need any experience.
- Our workshops take place outside in a covered gazebo, you are welcome to bring a rug for your knees and a cushion.
- We will be walking off the paths and through trees with uneven ground,
- You will need to wear suitable footwear and clothing (something warm as we will be outside)
We start our workshop with a walk through areas which we are allowed to forage for materials, you will be supplied with a bag to collect items for your wreath, having walked back to base (near the central hub) we will have a short break allowing you to get a hot drink and change footwear, before we start to make the wreath, full guidance is given with demonstrations and one to one help.
The classes are kept small to ensure plenty of personal attention.
