About this piece

Blackberry Picking was inspired by those late-summer walks when the hedgerows are heavy with fruit and you come home with stained fingers, scratched arms and rather fewer blackberries than you started with.

For me, it carries a little memory of blackberry picking with Mum — which is exactly why this piece feels so special.

Created using vintage flowers, berries and foliage, it has the slightly time-worn beauty that gives older floral pieces their character. Designed as a petite boutonnière, it can be worn on a jacket or lapel, but would look equally lovely pinned to a hat, bag or scarf.

Each piece is finished by hand in the Peacock & Gilt studio and is one of a kind.
