There is something particularly beautiful about a rose that is no longer quite perfect. Petals softened by the sun, colours deepening at the edges and that wonderful faded quality of a flower left blooming in the garden.

Last Rose of Summer was designed to capture just that feeling.

Large, blowsy roses in layers of dusty pink, blush and faded raspberry are gathered with a smaller rosebud, softly bronzed leaves and delicate green white stephanotis. The beautifully shaded fabric and slightly timeworn finish give the flowers the character of old garden roses rather than something newly picked.

Generous in scale and wonderfully romantic, this is a Statement piece designed to be worn on a hat or clothing, or used as a removable floral decoration on a celebration cake. Afterwards, it can be taken away and kept, a little piece of the occasion that doesn't have to disappear with the cake.

For cake styling: this is a decorative piece and is not intended for direct contact with food. It should be appropriately isolated from the cake and positioned by your cake maker or another suitably experienced person.

As each piece is individually handmade, small variations may occur.

Delivery & Returns UK delivery is included. Your piece will usually be carefully packed and dispatched within 2–3 working days. We use a tracked Royal Mail service and will send your tracking details once your order is on its way.

If you change your mind, please contact Peacock & Gilt within 14 days of receiving your order. You then have a further 14 days to return it. Change-of-mind returns should be carefully packaged and returned in their original condition; return postage is the customer's responsibility. If your order arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, please contact us promptly so we can put things right. Your statutory rights are not affected.
