I have loved violet pansies all my life — those familiar little faces have always had a particular charm. These beautiful handmade velvet pansies had been waiting in my collection for just the right companions, and the rich ombré jewelled leaves seemed made for them.

Created in Czechoslovakia in the 1990s, the vintage velvet pansies are arranged with tiny shaded blossom, delicate organdie trails and jewel-like ombré beaded leaves, bringing together soft old-fashioned floristry with an unexpected touch of sparkle.
